Good evening!

This is my first blog post ever and I’m not entirely sure how this goes but I figure I’ll get the hang of it eventually. So here we go, my name is Mat the Cheap Cook and like most university students, live in a small apartment, have a busy schedule and most of all enjoy eating. But here’s the thing, I like to eat good and eating good isn’t always cheap. Not everyone can go out to eat at their favorite restaurant when they’re craving their favorite dish, I know I cant! This is where this blog comes in, we’re going to go on a culinary experience or “foodventure” together. I will be posting recipes to some of my favorite dishes that you can make in a simple kitchen, but here’s the catch we’ll be cooking on a student budget!
